Choosing Your Polycarbonate

Polyeco greenhouses are available with different polycarbonate thicknesses depending on the model. The right choice depends on how you plan to use the greenhouse and how much insulation you want.

4mm Polycarbonate

A practical option for general greenhouse growing and for customers who want to keep the initial cost lower.

6mm Polycarbonate

Provides improved insulation and heat retention and is a popular choice for customers who want a more substantial greenhouse covering.

10mm Polycarbonate

Available on selected Polyeco ACE greenhouses for customers who want additional insulation in larger greenhouse installations.

Available polycarbonate options vary by greenhouse model. Check the individual product page for the options available.

Simple Installation, Without the Need for a Concrete Base

Most Polyeco domestic greenhouse models are designed to be securely anchored directly into suitable soil or grass, so a concrete foundation is not normally required.

Install on Suitable Ground

Polyeco ground anchoring systems are designed to secure the greenhouse directly into suitable ground. The installation area should be reasonably level and suitable for secure anchoring.

DIY or Professional Installation

You can assemble your Polyeco greenhouse yourself, or choose our professional installation service and let our experienced team take care of it.

Installation requirements vary by model and site conditions. Larger Polyeco ACE greenhouses may require existing hardstanding, a prepared base or an optional foundation frame. Check the individual product page or contact us if you are unsure.

Why Choose Polyeco?

Different models suit different gardens, but every Polyeco greenhouse is built around the same practical principles: strong materials, useful growing space and straightforward installation.

Galvanised Steel Construction

Polyeco greenhouses use galvanised steel frames designed for durability and long-term outdoor use.

No Concrete Base Normally Required

Most domestic Polyeco models can be securely anchored directly into suitable soil or grass using the supplied ground anchoring system.

Practical Modular Sizes

Different widths and lengths are available across the range, making it easier to choose a greenhouse that suits your available space.

Professional Installation Available

Prefer not to build it yourself? Our installation team can assemble and secure your greenhouse for you.
